Jonathan Craichy
MSW, LCSWA
Hey there - I'm Jonathan, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate with a background in inpatient psychiatric care. Through my work and life experience, I have come to believe that narrative is the foundation for understanding both the world within us and the world around us. The stories we tell about our lives—our struggles, strengths, and identities—shape how we experience and make sense of the world.
In therapy, I help clients explore and reframe these stories to uncover meaning, foster self-compassion, and create space for growth. My approach draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and mindfulness, all within a person-centered and strengths-based framework. I strive to create a space where clients feel safe, respected, and empowered to speak their truth and begin writing new chapters in their story.
I work with individuals as young as 5 years old through adulthood, navigating challenges such as anxiety, depression, or feeling stuck in patterns that no longer serve them. My background in psychiatric care has taught me the value of calm, consistent support—and the incredible resilience that can emerge when people begin to see themselves not as broken, but as whole and evolving.
Ultimately, my goal is to help each client connect more deeply with their own story—discovering insight, meaning, and agency along the way.
At the heart of his work is a simple belief: every person’s story matters. Jonathan is passionate about helping clients reconnect with their own narratives, uncovering strength, insight, and balance along the way.
