Stacy Blankenship, LCSW

Stacy Blankenship is a compassionate and highly skilled Licensed Clinical Social
Worker (LCSW) with over 13 years of experience in behavioral health, specializing in
crisis intervention, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and clinical education. As an
experienced therapist and dynamic instructor, Stacy integrates evidence-based
practices with a client-centered approach to empower individuals and professionals
alike.

Stacy is an intensively trained Dialectical Behavioral therapist completing her training at
The Linehan Institute in 2015. In her current professional capacity, Stacy is a High-Risk
specialist working with a University Counseling Center. Previous employment included
designing and teaching group therapy sessions for people attending intensive outpatient
and partial hospitalization programs, worked in community mental health, facilitated full
model DBT and implemented crisis intervention strategies. Stacy is recognized for
developing innovative programs, training clinicians, and fostering collaboration to
achieve meaningful and lasting outcomes, teaching continuing education seminars for
professionals for over five years. Stacy has thorough knowledge of crisis management
skills and has certifications in Critical Incident Stress Management and Question,
Persuade Refer (QPR) instruction.
