Taylor Baker
LCMHC
Hello, I'm Taylor, a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor with a certification in trauma counseling, dedicated to providing compassionate, collaborative care to individuals and families. I bring experience in group therapy and outpatient treatment, working with both children and adults navigating challenges such as grief and loss, stress management, anxiety, depression, life transitions, and relationship concerns. I also provide support through family therapy and therapeutic groups, helping clients strengthen connection and communication.
I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from North Carolina Central University and my Master of Arts from Antioch University. My clinical work is grounded in a person-centered approach, where clients are active participants in their treatment and empowered to lead sessions in ways that feel most meaningful and supportive to their goals.
As a “forever learner,” I am committed to ongoing professional growth through continued education and training, ensuring my work remains ethical, informed, and responsive to the evolving needs of those I serve.
Outside of the therapy space, I enjoy reading, spending time in nature, building LEGO sets, creating crafts, taking restorative naps, and connecting with loved ones.
I look forward to partnering with you on your journey and supporting you in building resilience, clarity, and balance in your life.
