Grace Siefring
MSW, LCSWA, LCASA
I hold a Master of Social Work from North Carolina State University (2025), where I completed the Addiction and Recovery certification curriculum and was honored to serve as a HRSA BHWET Scholar. Through the HRSA program, I received in-depth training in a broad spectrum of clinical approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Sensorimotor Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Internal Family Systems, and Trauma-Informed Care. I was also exposed to specialized topics such as screen use and mental health in adolescents, esketamine (sprovato) for treatment-resistant depression, and the complexities of personality disorders.
My professional experience spans both direct clinical work and community-level intervention. I’ve provided case management for students at NC State and contributed to a private consulting agency where I developed resources and training for health professionals on the intersection of mental health and substance use. I’m especially passionate about research and psychoeducation, with a particular interest in how cognition, behavior, and brain function intersect—and how understanding those unique patterns in ourselves can lead to transformative change.
In practice, my approach is evidence-based and rooted in the science of behavior and the brain, but also deeply human. Clinically, I tend to draw from positive psychology—especially mindfulness and gratitude—and believe in the power of traditional talk therapy as a space for reflection and growth. As a woman and an Asian American, I understand the significance of culture, gender, and the many parts of the self. I see wellbeing as the interaction and balance of these parts, and it would be a privilege to support you in your exploration of self and your wellness goals.
