CLINICIANS
Part & Full Time | Remote, Hybrid, or In-Person
Calm and Focused Therapy is seeking compassionate, dedicated, and licensed therapists (provisionally licensed accepted) to join our team. We provide individual, family, marital, and group therapy at our office locations, remotely via telehealth, and/or other approved locations. If you are passionate about empowering clients to achieve peace of mind and uncover their potential, we invite you to consider this opportunity.
Key Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality counseling and related services, including individual, family, marital and group therapy, in various settings (in-person, telehealth, or other approved locations).

Maintain a caseload of clients:
-
Part-time contractors: 12-24 clients per week, with a gradual build-up over 60-90 days
-
Full-time contractors: 25-32 clients per week, with a gradual build-up over 60-90 days
-

Complete therapy notes for each session within five (5) calendar days to ensure timely submission of documentation to insurance payers and maintain a steady revenue flow.

Adhere to all clinical and organizational policies, maintaining the highest standards of professionalism, ethics, and confidentiality.

Collaborate with team members and participate in periodic reviews as necessary to meet organizational goals.
Requirements:
-
Master’s degree or higher in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
-
Active and unrestricted licensure in North Carolina (e.g., LCMHC-A, LCSW-A, LMFT, etc.).
-
Experience and/or desire to provide therapy to diverse populations, with a focus on individualized and culturally competent care.

Strong organizational skills to manage caseloads and documentation deadlines.
-
Ability and willingness to complete and pass a standard background check

Ability and willingness to obtain and provide General Liability Insurance

Certified Massage Therapist
Part & Full Time | In-Person
Calm and Focused Therapy is a collaborative and compassionate mental health practice committed to helping individuals find peace of mind by discovering their own calm and ability to focus. We are expanding our holistic wellness offerings and are seeking a skilled, certified massage therapist who shares our mission of supporting clients’ emotional, physical, and mental well-being.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide professional therapeutic massage services to clients based on individual needs and preferences.

Conduct thorough consultations to understand client goals, medical history, and areas of concern.

Create a calming, safe, and welcoming environment that supports healing and stress reduction.

Maintain accurate records of sessions and client progress as required.

Collaborate with therapists and administrative staff to coordinate holistic care as appropriate.

Ensure hygiene and cleanliness standards of your massage space are consistently upheld.

Uphold ethical and professional standards in accordance with state licensing and Calm and Focused Therapy policies.
Requirements:

Active North Carolina Massage Therapy License in good standing.

Certification from an accredited massage therapy program.

Liability insurance (or willingness to obtain upon hire).

Ability to provide a range of modalities (e.g., Swedish, deep tissue, myofascial, prenatal preferred).

Excellent interpersonal skills, a calming presence, and a trauma-informed approach.

Mental Health training facilitator
Part Time | Remote, Hybrid, or In-Person
At Calm and Focused Therapy, we believe that education is a powerful tool for change. Our mission is to empower both professionals and communities through accessible, high-quality mental health training rooted in compassion, inclusion, and innovation.
We are expanding our professional development offerings and are seeking experienced and engaging Mental Health Training Facilitators to design and lead trainings across a variety of topics and formats.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and deliver high-quality training content related to mental health, wellness, therapy practices, or related topics
-
Facilitate engaging learning experiences in live virtual, in-person, or recorded/asynchronous formats
-
Provide practical, skill-based instruction aligned with evidence-based practices and adult learning principles
-
Collaborate with our team to refine curriculum, gather feedback, and ensure alignment with CE requirements
-
Respond to participant inquiries related to training content, as needed
Requirements:
-
Clinical license, advanced degree, or significant experience in mental health, social work, psychology, or a related field
-
Experience facilitating training, workshops, or continuing education sessions not required but a plus!

Ability to create inclusive, culturally responsive learning environments
-
Strong communication skills and comfort presenting to diverse audiences
-
Familiarity with virtual learning platforms (Zoom, Canva, LMS platforms, etc.) is a plus
