Angel Archer

MSW, LCSWA

915 Vandora Springs Rd, Garner, NC 27529, USA

Hi, I’m Angel Archer, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate offering in-person and virtual therapy. My goal is to create a space where you feel understood, supported, and safe to show up as your full self while we work together to make sense of what you’re carrying, build practical tools, and help you feel more grounded and confident in your life.

I work with teens and adults who are carrying a lot: anxiety, trauma, relationship stress, mood changes, identity shifts, mom guilt, childhood pain, life transitions, or the quiet pressure of trying to hold everything together. Many of the people I support are navigating women’s issues, caregiving demands, complex family dynamics, or the experience of growing up with a parent who struggled with substance use. I also welcome and am comfortable working with clients who may feel unsure, guarded, overwhelmed, or new to therapy.

I do this work because I believe people deserve a space where they do not have to perform, explain everything perfectly, or show up as the polished version of themselves. Therapy should feel human. It should feel like being met with warmth, honesty, curiosity, and care. My role is not to fix you or tell you who to become. My role is to understand you, support you, and help you make sense of where you have been, what you are carrying, and where you want to go next.

My approach is trauma-informed, relational, compassionate, and collaborative. Together, we move at a pace that feels safe while building insight, practical coping tools, and a deeper sense of trust in yourself. I see you as the expert on your own life, and I bring clinical training, steady support, and a whole lot of heart to the work we do together.

Therapy with me is warm, honest, and rooted in real connection. You do not need perfect words, a clear goal, or a grand plan to begin. You can show up messy, unsure, overwhelmed, hopeful, guarded, or somewhere in between. Think of me as a safe place to land while you figure out who you are, where you have been, and how you want your story to unfold from here.

Outside of the therapy room, I’m literally just a girl. I value meaningful conversations with gal pals, love visiting local thrift and antique stores, enjoy time near the water whenever I can get it, and appreciate the balance between deep work and lighthearted moments. When I’m not in session, you can usually find me recharging with my little family, exploring new coffee shops, or catching up on my TBR list.
