Lisa Moran
MSW, LCSW-S
Hello!
My name is Lisa Moran, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Over the past 15+ years, I have had the privilege of practicing across a wide range of environments and alongside many different populations — from inpatient mental health treatment facilities to higher education settings, and nearly everything in between. My clinical background includes crisis management, harm reduction, depression, anxiety, and mood disorders. I bring a particular emphasis to my work with the military-involved community, as well as individuals with past or current justice system involvement, having worked extensively with both.
My approach is person-centered and grounded in a strengths-based framework, because I believe every person already carries what they need to become the best version of themselves — sometimes it just takes a partner to help bring it forward. I draw on integrative techniques and hold self-compassion and authenticity as central to meaningful change. Humor is welcome here, and I encourage the people I work with to be unapologetically themselves. I am dedicated to serving diverse populations across all identities and backgrounds, honoring the unique experiences and stories that shape each person I have the honor of meeting.
