About

Introduction to Internal Family Systems 📅 Date: Friday, March 6th 🕓 Time: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM EST 📍 Location: Virtual 🎤 Facilitator: Ashley Esry, LICSW, LCSW, LCAS This comprehensive training offers clinicians an overview of Internal Family Systems Therapy, an evidence-based, compassion-focused model. This training explores the idea that each person is made up of “parts” that each carry their own emotions, beliefs, and roles, and that healing occurs when these parts are approached carefully and without judgement. Participants will also learn about the “Self,” which is the inner leader that guides the healing process. Through discussion, demonstrations, and real-world examples, this training will guide clinicians in understanding how IFS can be applied in clinical practice to support clients in reducing internal conflict, fostering emotional resilience, and developing a better sense of self. Participants will learn to: * Identify core principles of Internal Family Systems (IFS) and its application in clinical practice. * Identify key parts within the IFS model and their roles in mental health and addiction. *Explore the impact of trauma on internal parts and how IFS can facilitate healing. * Demonstrate practical IFS-based interventions to support clients * Apply IFS techniques to clients with co-occurring mental health and addiction issues, adapting interventions for different levels of care. * Utilize experiential exercises and clinical strategies to guide clients through the process of inner-child healing and self-reparenting. 🎓 3 Credit Hours | ACEP Number: 7925 💻 Online format
